RG316 Coaxial Cable

RG316 coaxial cable is typically used in space-constrained RF applications where high reliability, temperature stability and performance are required. Its miniature 2.5mm diameter, PTFE (Teflon) dielectric and silver-plated conductor construction make it well suited to applications such as avionics equipment bays, medical systems, data links, antenna assemblies and internal RF connections.

Compared with standard PE dielectric cables, RG316 provides improved phase stability, higher temperature capability and greater resistance to demanding environments, making it a popular choice for sensitive electronic systems where space is limited.

RG316 uses a PTFE dielectric and silver-plated conductor for higher temperature and chemical resistance, while RU100-A-PVC uses a solid PE dielectric and solid copper core, better suited where that extra resistance isn't required.
