The MS-Base-SS comes standard with a stainless steel M10 x 1.5 TPI male thread on the top suitable for any fibreglass or stainless steel whip with a M10 x 1.5 TPI female thread. The stainless steel base thread of M10 x 1.5 TPI female thread is suitable for any base assembly with a male M10 x 1.5 TPI thread such as the OB-2, OB-4.7 or MGB-OB. The spring will reduce vibrations and reduce damage from accidental contact and will keep the whip at the optimum vertical position. Simply mount the MS base onto your OB base, a small amount of thread locker can be applied for long term installtion, securing screw your whip onto the male threaded end of the MS base and secure with a spanner.
