The Y409-AFP is a dual gain design, split boom 4 or 9 element UHF Yagi for use within the UHF frequency range 350-400MHz. The split boom design is suitable for temporary alternate gain requirement installations such as mobile communications huts or long term installations onto a tower. The split boom is secured using a wing-nut bolt for easy yet secure attachment of the front section. The split boom design also reduces transport cost and space and storage space when not required.
