The VHF-H162 ground independent flexible helical whip antenna is suitable for VHF applications at the specific 162.5 MHz frequency. The VHF-H162 requries a UHF female mounted base such as the MGB-UHF, ZMB-90 or RA-4.7. All of these bases are available to order separately. The VHF-H162 is suitable as a centrally located omnidirectional VHF communications or data transmit/receive antenna in a fixed location or for mobile vehicle mounting.
